Corners are nice and sharp, the spine is completely intact without separation. This is in excellent condition (I would say near mint as it doesn't even look as if it has been pages through) and it would be difficult to find one surviving in better condition. No pen or pencil markings. Also includes the original 4 page newspaper herald (it is rare for pressbooks to still contain these, as over the years they fall out, or are sold separately as they have value by themselves, see photo 12, the center 2 pictures are the front and back of the herald). Comes with the original 1-sheet poster (last photo on the left) and the title lobby card (the title lobby card is the most valuable from a lobby card set...last photo on the right).

This auction includes an original studio one SHEET POSTER (27" x 41) from the film
(see first photo image on the right and photo 12 on the left)! This poster is NOT a copy or reproduction but a studio original. While pressbooks are my main business, I am now including other movie collectibles that I have amassed over the years. The pressbook in all of our auctions is the main item because that is my specialty. I do not grade or describe the condition of the posters (except for maybe a brief description if necessary) as I am not an expert on movie posters, stills or lobby cards, it is up to you to study the photo as to the poster's condition. We guarantee that the photo posted here is a direct photo of the poster included (the poster image can be enlarged). Some posters have some kind of defect  whether it might be pinholes or writing on the back, blemishes, tears, creases, taped areas, an area with a rippled effect (probably from dampness, which can usually be seen on the scans, but not always) so please look very carefully as most of these have been used by theaters. On the other hand as I continue to look through these, some are in great condition and a few look like they were never used. So it is up to you to study the photo. All posters have been folded. This was the way they were originally sent to the theaters.

Scans allow you to see every detail, which is why we chose to scan our images rather than photograph them.   This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room for many years in non-smoking home storage with 2 Hepa air filters and in the summer 2 industrial dehumidifiers, inside a protective bag.
ABOUT SHIPPING:
Our shipping charge includes the pressbook mailed
securely with brand new strong cardboard most times with extra layers. It also includes a plastic collectible sealed bag which you can use to store your pressbook. If you order more than one pressbook, each will come with the protective bag. We ship all packages first class mail.

ABOUT ME:
I have been a movie fan all of my life, my grandfather worked for both Universal and RKO, and my mother was an editor at Paramount. At age 8 I was taken to my grandfather's offices and saw piles of movie pressbooks stacked up.  I have collected since I was 8. Over the years, when I obtained a pressbook, it would immediately go into a plastic bag and was taped shut so no air could enter. This was after I unfolded them, if they were folded.  My father owned a furniture store which my grandfather opened in 1900, which I worked at for 10 years and the first and most important thing he taught me was about customer relations, to treasure each and every customer, so I am an old-fashioned seller who cares about each sale, a "mom and pop" store. I am ALWAYS available to talk about anything you might be interested in from my store or our transaction as I check my Ebay mail almost every 2 hours during the day. I do love talking about movies.
