Description
McCoy 1953 Two-Tone 9" Vase, McCoy mark, Brown/Yellow gloss glaze (blend).EXCELLENT CONDITION. As seen in HNH Vol. 1, p. 173, top row. These two-tone vases came in gray/green, yellow/green, and chartreuse/green. However, this vase is a beautiful blend of brown into celery green into yellow in a high gloss glaze, an unusual combination. The interior is very clean, no chips, no cracks, some crazing only due to age. The top rim has no flaws and is elegantly curved. The exterior is so unique on this piece; the mold lines are super crisp, the colors just seem to "drip" downward. There is rust brown glaze at the exterior top, into a celery green, blending down into yellow. The exterior has no chips, no cracks, some crazing only due to age seen more at the bottom than top. Base has no chips, no cracks, sits very balanced. Bottom has "McCoy USA" mark. If you collect McCoy vases, this one will definitely be a conversation piece, so unique both in color and form. Guaranteed authentic. Buyer to pay shipping+insurance. Will require large USPS box with extra wrapping for safety. Paypal only accepted. Lifetime McCoy collector is selling private collection; pls. check out my other listings. Thank you for looking.
