This listing is for a vintage Brush McCoy planter / bowl.
The bottom is marked “
USA
” and “691”.
This item is what those of us who are old enough to remember would call a “dime store item”.
It has all of the unevenness and quickly-made features that were characteristic of items sold in those discount stores 60 or 70 (or more) years ago. It is approximately 5-1/2 inches in diameter at the top of the bowl, and 2-1/2 inches tall.
There is no damage on the item  – no chips, flea bites, cracks, or glaze crazing.  It has come through the years well.
This item would fit in well with your “Mid-Century Modern” décor.
