Vinyl Vac LP record vacuum wand
. This device connects to a vacuum cleaner hose and is used to remove dust and dirt from a vinyl record (especially useful for older used vinyl LPs that have never been cleaned).
Very good condition. I bought it new in 2016 and used it several times with great results but I have stopped buying records so I no longer need this wand.
Includes all the original parts:
Vinyl Vac vacuum wand (with soft velvet pads and bottom coupling)
1 white felt washer (worn, but still usable)
2 replacement pads (unused)
2 suction reducers (unused)
1 rubber O-ring (unused)

The wand is designed to fit hoses 1-1/4" wide in conjunction with the O-ring. The optional suction reducers fit in the bottom coupling.
Here are my recommended instructions:
Place the record on the turntable.
Place the white felt spindle washer over the spindle.
Connect the Vinyl Vac to your vacuum hose.
Carefully place the wand's spindle hole over the spindle so that the tip rests on the felt washer and the black velvet pads rest lightly on the record.
Start the vacuum (with your foot or free hand). (Always start the vacuum
after
positioning the wand so that you don't suck up the white felt washer.)
With one hand hold the wand/vacuum hose steady. With the other hand slowly rotate the record platter from the edge of the record. Maintain wand orientation so that the tip holds the felt washer in the place and the black velvet pads always face downward. Dust is sucked through the slit between the velvet pads. Rotate 2 or 3 full rotations or until all the dust has been removed.
Turn the vacuum off (with your foot or free hand).
When suction stops, remove the wand from the spindle/record.
Note: I couldn't get the wand to fit my Miele
vacuum's
larger tube (1-11/32" wide), so I bought two rubber coupling sections to attach the wand to my wider vacuum hose.
These couplers are not included unless you request them.
If your vacuum hose is wider than 1-1/4", I can include these rubber couplers but the shipping cost will be higher. Let me know before you pay and I'll adjust the shipping.
